Interactive UI behavior, real model calls, physical devices, and upgrades from older versions still need further acceptance testing.

tar -xzf 'Rivloom_0.1.30_linux_x64.tar.gz'If verification fails, do not run the program. Check the architecture and version, then download again. SHA-256 verifies file bytes; it is not a publisher signature.

To update, stop the service, preserve the data directory, verify and extract the new version, then restart. Automatic updates are not available for Linux.
Read the Linux SSH setup guideThe graphical desktop app currently targets Windows x64. The Linux command-line app is for headless workers; see the Linux section above for download availability. No macOS package is available yet.
Check the version, file size, and SHA-256, and read the signature status on the corresponding card. When SHA256SUMS.txt is available here, download it too. Do not obtain installers from unknown sources.
(Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath 'full path to the installer').Hash(Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath 'full path to the installer').Hash -eq 'matching SHA-256 from this page'True means the hashes match; False means they do not. If the command reports an error, verification is incomplete: check the file path and read permissions.
These commands only read the file to calculate its hash. They do not run the installer or modify files. If the hashes differ, check that you selected the correct version and file, then download it again and recheck. A matching hash confirms matching file bytes; it is not a publisher's digital signature.
The current Rivloom installer is unsigned. Windows may show a source or reputation warning during installation. A file hash verifies the downloaded bytes; it is not a publisher's digital signature.
Starting with 0.1.5, Rivloom checks for updates after startup and every six hours. When an update is available, choose to download and install it or skip that version. You can also check manually in About Rivloom. Install the new version manually if you are using 0.1.4.
Version 0.1.7 improves the installation handoff and backup progress. When upgrading to it from 0.1.5 or 0.1.6, you may still need to close the older update dialog once.
0.1.26 optimizes Windows update backups by omitting engine cache and temporary files, plus bundled plugin dependencies verified as rebuildable offline. Unverified dependencies are still backed up, and current application data is not deleted.
Upgrading from an older version to 0.1.26 still uses the older backup logic. The optimization applies to later in-app updates after 0.1.26 is installed. The Linux command-line node continues to use manual upgrades.
Task state and configuration are stored in the local application data directory. Work files stay in the project folder on the execution device. Model requests are sent to your selected model provider. Read the Privacy notice.
